Your private recipe book, Kitchens for the people you cook with, the shared weekly plan, and grocery lists that write themselves are all free forever. Five recipes is plenty to try every part of it.
Paste a link or share a post and Chefless pulls out the ingredients and steps, up to ten imports a day on the free plan. See how it works on the AI recipe import page.
Chefless earns from subscriptions, not from you. There are no ads and no data selling, whether you pay or not. Your recipe book is private by default and stays that way.
Yes. Chefless is free to download, free of ads, and the core stays free forever. Your recipe book, private Kitchens, weekly meal planning, and automatic grocery lists cost nothing. Free accounts keep up to five recipes and can import recipes from links up to ten times a day. An optional premium subscription lifts those limits, but nothing essential sits behind it.
Premium removes the five-recipe cap for unlimited recipes, saves, and remixes, and it unlocks full-year meal scheduling, unlimited Kitchen members, and unlimited cookbooks. It raises your daily AI allowance and adds the AI recipe helper, which builds a recipe from the ingredients you have, suggests substitutions, and turns rough notes into a clean recipe. You also get remix lineage trees, shareable Passport and Wrapped highlights, and a chef hat badge on your profile.
Pricing is shown in the app on the upgrade screen, where you can pick a monthly or annual plan, with the annual plan the better value. You subscribe through the App Store or Google Play, so you pay in your local currency at the price listed there. Downloading Chefless and using the free core never costs anything.
Yes, anytime. Billing runs through your App Store or Google Play account, so you cancel from your device's subscription settings rather than inside Chefless. Your premium features stay active until the end of the period you already paid for, and then your account simply returns to the free tier.
No. Your recipes are always yours and are never deleted when a subscription ends. If you saved more than the free limit while on premium, those recipes stay in your book; the five-recipe cap only applies to adding new ones. Resubscribe whenever you like to start adding again.
Download Chefless, cook a week from your own recipe book, and upgrade only if you want to.
